We are not amused.

Oh, how excited I was about Ridge Day. Nora's first parade, plus a little festival right up the street from our house. Oh, how we'd frolic! The great photos I'd take! The fond memories that would form part of Nora's subconscious, cementing her lifelong love of Pleasant Ridge and, of course, her parents.

We didn't count on Nora's utter boredom. She was not impressed. The only time she roused herself to point was when kids marched by carrying balloons. No balloons, but you do have a pony, you say? Slow blink. No balloons, but you've got a bunch of big drums and you're doing a whole step dance routine right in front of us? Yawn.

Here is a pictorial of Nora's boring day.

These were the funniest pictures. I have never seen Nora bored, and she really knows how to look the part.

Anyway, it is reassuring to me that she hasn't changed too much.

Thank you for posting these photos. You and Rich look very good by the way. Mamama.

you should have brought along a full length mirror. That would have kept her amused!
